How to Make Folded Paint Monsters

What You’ll Need:

-Construction paper

-Scissors

-Glue or tape

-Paint (we recommend using washable paint for this activity)

-Optional: googly eyes, pom poms, and other craft supplies to decorate your monsters

Instructions:

First, fold a piece of construction paper in half. Then, cut out some simple monster shapes from the paper. You can make your monsters as simple or as complex as you like. Once you have your monster shapes cut out, it’s time to start painting! Use whatever colors you like and get creative. When you’re finished painting, carefully unfold the paper to reveal your monsters. If you want, you can decorate your monsters with googly eyes, pom poms, and other craft supplies.

Squish Paint Monsters

The game has a simple premise: you must squish paint monsters by tapping them. There are two modes of play: one where you tap to move left and right, and another where you tap to squash the monster. You earn points based on how many monsters you kill and how fast you finish the level.

How to Make Paint Smash Monster Puppets

This project was inspired by a YouTube video where someone made a paint monster puppet out of a plastic bottle. I wanted to try it myself but couldn’t find any instructions online. So I decided to give it a shot!

Supplies Needed for these Paint Smash Monster Puppets

-A plastic water or soda bottle

-Scissors

-Tape

-Paint (we used washable paint)

Instructions for these Monster Puppets Craft

Start by cutting the bottom off of the plastic bottle. Then, cut two slits in the sides of the bottle near the top. These slits will be where your arms go. Next, tape the top of the bottle closed. This will be the monster’s head. Now it’s time to start painting! We used washable paint so that our puppet could be used over and over again. Once you’re finished painting, put your arms through the slits and start playing!

Monster Blow Painting Picklebums

I love painting monsters! They’re so fun to paint and they look great hanging on the wall. The hardest part of this project was finding the right colors for each monster’s skin. I used acrylic paints because they dry fast and I don’t have to worry about mixing too many colors together. I started by drawing out the basic shapes of each monster using black ink. Then I painted them all at once. Once I had completed the first layer of color, I added details like eyes, mouths, and horns. I let each layer dry before adding another one. It took me about two weeks to complete all of these paintings.

Symmetry Paint Squish Monsters The Kitchen Table Classroom

A fun way to teach kids about symmetry! Kids will love this activity because they get to paint squishy monsters and then see if they can find symmetrical patterns. This activity is great for math centers and science lessons too.

Paper and Paint Splat Monsters

A fun game where players must squish paint monsters by drawing lines through them. The game has two modes – one where players must draw lines to connect all the paint splats together, and another where they must only connect the first few splats.

Craft Supplies For Paint Spatter Monsters

I love this game! It’s so fun and easy to play. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t have any sound effects. So if you want to play this game, you’ll need some friends who know how to make sounds.
